Aultman Alliance Community Hospital Offers Summer Teen Program for High School Students
The Aultman Alliance Community Hospital (AACH) summer teen program is an opportunity for high school students ages 16 to graduation to volunteer over the summer months. The 2024 program will run from June 10 through Aug. 9. While volunteering in this program is not an internship or shadow program, it does give students the opportunity to gain non-clinical experience in a hospital setting while helping others.
“We are excited to have the opportunity to again offer this program and are confident each student will gain valuable and useful knowledge as they continue the journey down the path to their future,” said Michele Quinn, AACH director of volunteer services.
Students can apply at aultmanalliance.org/about/giving-back from March 18 – May 14. They must be able to commit to a minimum of six hours per week to the program and are assigned to open volunteer positions throughout the hospital. Only students of the summer program will be permitted to volunteer at AACH throughout the calendar year.
