Aultman Alliance Community Hospital (AACH) will hold its first in-person diabetes awareness group since 2020 on Wednesday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. – noon in the hospital’s McAlister Room.

The free awareness group will provide a meet-and-greet for those who choose to attend, and it will focus on coping and resiliency for the past two years. The group will continue to meet throughout the year. Limited seats are available, so registration is required. To register, call 330-596-7888. Masks are also required.

In addition to the awareness group, Aultman Alliance is also offering a diabetes self-management education/support class in November. This class is for people who want to learn more about diabetes, nutrition, long- and short-term complications, coping, medication and technology.
